HOW IT WORKS

1. Choose the correct jacket length and purchase the service online.

2. Send the jacket to our workshop in Barcelona using a courier of your choice. The shipment to our workshop is organised and paid for by the customer.

3. Once the jacket arrives, our specialists clean, prepare and reproof the garment.

4. When the treatment is complete, we arrange the return shipment using the delivery method selected during checkout.

RETURN SHIPPING

Return shipping is charged separately at checkout according to the destination country.

A wax jacket is more than a garment. Over time, it develops its own character, colour and story. Our professional cleaning and reproofing service is designed to preserve that identity while restoring the protection and distinctive finish of the original waxed cotton.

Every jacket is treated with care and respect for its construction, age and condition.

WHAT THE SERVICE INCLUDES

Our Basic Reproofing Service includes:

• Cleaning of the jacket’s interior and exterior  
• Removal of accumulated dirt, residue and impurities  
• Careful application of wax to the outer fabric  
• Resting time to allow the treatment to settle correctly  
• Final inspection before return shipping

Once completed, the jacket is refreshed, protected and ready to continue its journey.

Jackets measuring up to and including 90 cm: €85

Jackets measuring over 90 cm: €99

Measure the jacket vertically from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the bottom hem.

VINTAGE GARMENT CARE DISCLAIMER

Many of the jackets entrusted to us are vintage garments, sometimes more than thirty years old. Although every piece is inspected and treated with professional care, age, previous wear and hidden weaknesses in the fabric, seams or components may only become apparent during cleaning and reproofing.

In rare cases, the treatment may reveal or aggravate an existing weakness, resulting in small tears, seam damage, colour variation or deterioration in particularly fragile areas. If our initial inspection identifies a clear risk, we will contact you before proceeding.

By purchasing this service and sending us your jacket, you acknowledge the inherent risks involved in treating vintage garments. DRAPS cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing wear, age-related deterioration, previous repairs or hidden structural weakness that could not reasonably have been identified before treatment. This does not affect your statutory rights, and we remain responsible for carrying out every treatment with appropriate professional care.
