Free Return — When It’s Our Mistake

If we make a mistake at DRAPS, your satisfaction matters. If the item you receive is incorrect, damaged, has an undisclosed defect, or is significantly different from what was described in the listing, please contact us as soon as possible.

When the return is due to an error on our side, DRAPS will cover the return shipping cost and provide the necessary return instructions.

When Return Shipping Is at Your Expense

If you decide to return an item for personal reasons, including size, fit or change of mind, the return shipping cost is your responsibility.

We provide detailed measurements, descriptions and photographs to help you make an informed purchase. Please remember that every DRAPS jacket is a unique vintage garment and may naturally show signs of age, wear and individual character.

Conditions for a Valid Return

The item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received.

It must be unworn beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect and try on the garment, unwashed, unaltered and free from any damage, modification, additional wear, stains or other changes occurring after delivery.

All original accessories, detachable parts and any other items included with the order must also be returned.

The item must be carefully and securely packaged to prevent damage during return transport.

DRAPS reserves the right to assess any loss of value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and fit of the garment, in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Please contact DRAPS before returning an item so that we can provide the correct return instructions and return address.

Return Timeframes

For online purchases, customers must communicate their decision to withdraw within the applicable legal withdrawal period, generally 14 calendar days from the date the order is received.

Once the decision to return the item has been communicated, the item must be shipped back without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 calendar days from the date the customer communicates the decision to withdraw, in accordance with applicable consumer law.

We strongly recommend shipping the return as soon as possible after notifying us.

A valid tracking number or other proof of shipment must be provided to DRAPS. The date on which the parcel is accepted by the carrier will be considered the official dispatch date for determining whether the return was shipped within the applicable timeframe.

If the item is not dispatched within the applicable return period, the return may no longer be accepted and the right of withdrawal may expire, subject to applicable consumer law.

Return Shipping Costs

For returns due to size, fit or change of mind, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the item.

If the return is due to an error attributable to DRAPS, such as receiving an incorrect item, an undisclosed defect or a significant discrepancy from the listing, DRAPS will cover the return shipping cost.

For statutory withdrawals, any refund of the original delivery charge will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law. Any additional delivery costs resulting from the customer's choice of a delivery method more expensive than our standard delivery option are not refundable where permitted by law.

Customs duties, import taxes and other charges paid directly to customs authorities, carriers or third parties are not refundable by DRAPS unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Refund Process

Once the returned item has been received, it will be inspected to verify its condition.

DRAPS may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or until the customer provides valid evidence that the goods have been dispatched, whichever occurs first, as permitted by applicable consumer law.

Once the return has been received and approved following inspection, the applicable refund will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

Any reduction in value resulting from handling of the garment beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and fit may be deducted from the refund where permitted by applicable consumer law.

This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.
