Authentic vintage Barbour Beaufort jacket from the 2000, made in England in 100% waxed cotton. This piece comes in a rare navy shade and includes the detachable hood (a €60 value on its own).

 

Although labeled C42 (L), the sleeves have been professionally shortened, making the fit ideal for someone wearing size M. This adjustment makes the jacket more versatile and suitable for people with a shorter build.

• 100% waxed cotton, made in England

• Classic navy color (90s vintage)

• Corduroy collar with throat latch

• YKK Barbour ring-pull zipper

• Two large front bellow pockets + two hand-warmer pockets

• Size C42, fits more like M due to sleeve modification

Measurements (taken flat):

A = TOTAL LENGTH → 78 cm

B = PIT TO PIT → 58 cm

C = SHOULDERS → 50 cm

D = SLEEVE (measured from collar to cuff) → 69 cm

Condition: overall good vintage condition with patina and natural signs of age. Small pinhole visible in photo, but nothing that compromises the integrity of the jacket.

All measurements are taken with the jacket laid flat and open, as shown in our reference diagram.
For the most accurate fit, always compare the measurements provided with a jacket you already own.

Men’s Size Guide (approximate):

  • S: C34 – C36

  • M: C36 – C38 – C40

  • L: C40 – C42 – C44

  • XL: C44 – C46

  • XXL: C48 – C50

As a quick reference: a C38 usually corresponds to an EU 48, and so on.

Women’s Sizes – Important Note:

Women’s vintage Barbour sizing varies even more depending on the model (Utility, Beadnell, Border, etc.). As a rough guide:

  • UK 6–8 ≈ XS–S

  • UK 10–12 ≈ M

  • UK 14 ≈ L–XL

  • UK 16 ≈ XL

  • UK 18 ≈ XXL
