This Bedale Classic from 2000 has just been fully restored – washed, repaired and rewaxed (€95 service). A true heritage piece that carries 25 years of history while being ready for its second life.

 

The jacket features some unique modifications: the sleeves were slightly shortened, a seam under the right sleeve was replaced, and a small hole on the other sleeve repaired. These details don’t compromise the structure – instead, they add a rugged and rustic character that makes this piece one-of-a-kind.

Technically labeled C44, but thanks to the sleeve adjustment it now fits perfectly for someone between size M and L.

For the most accurate fit, always compare the measurements provided with a jacket you already own.

Men’s Size Guide (approximate):

  • S: C34 – C36

  • M: C36 – C38 – C40

  • L: C40 – C42 – C44

  • XL: C44 – C46

  • XXL: C48 – C50

As a quick reference: a C38 usually corresponds to an EU 48, and so on.

Women’s Sizes – Important Note:

Women’s vintage Barbour sizing varies even more depending on the model (Utility, Beadnell, Border, etc.). As a rough guide:

  • UK 6–8 ≈ XS–S

  • UK 10–12 ≈ M

  • UK 14 ≈ L–XL
